<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Below are the treats you are allowed once a week starting from week 2 until week 6 during the Six Week Reset. </span></p>
<ul>
<li style="font-weight: 400;" aria-level="1"><span style="font-weight: 400;">2 glasses of wine (125 ml, preferably red, but white is allowed if that’s what you enjoy)</span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;" aria-level="1"><span style="font-weight: 400;">2 glasses of champagne, prosecco, cava, or other sparkling wine</span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;" aria-level="1"><span style="font-weight: 400;">1 cocktail</span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;" aria-level="1"><span style="font-weight: 400;">2 shots of liquor (vodka, tequila, whisky, etc.)</span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;" aria-level="1"><span style="font-weight: 400;">1 starter of your choice</span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;" aria-level="1"><span style="font-weight: 400;">1 main course of your choice</span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;" aria-level="1"><span style="font-weight: 400;">1 dessert of your choice</span></li>
</ul>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">If you would like to pick two options from the list above, you absolutely can have that! Just halve the portions, meaning you can have one glass of wine and one starter of your choice. I sometimes have a glass of wine as a treat and end a meal with 6 squares of dairy-free dark chocolate (check that it isn&#8217;t loaded with additives) with a cup of herbal tea.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">I would urge you to avoid fruit juices and sodas as they are extremely high in sugar and have been linked to diabetes. It is a habit you can easily get rid of; even freshly squeezed juice is best avoided. Eating the whole fruit is much better for you as the fiber lowers its glycemic index. Just to give you an idea, you need about 4 oranges to make a cup of orange juice. It has been proven that regular consumption of sweet drinks contributes to obesity and difficulty for the body to use fat stores rather than blood sugar for energy.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">When deciding what to have as your treat, go for something you enjoy most. However, aim to favor unprocessed whole foods from Orange Foods over Red Foods.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">During the Six Week Reset, Whole Foods Orange Treats still count as your weekly treat. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">After Week 6, you can have up to 3 weekly treats and choose whether to have 3 Whole Foods Orange Treats, or 2 Whole Foods Orange Treats and 1 Red, depending on how you feel. </span></p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">*I would recommend waiting until Week 2 of the Six Week Reset until you reintroduce Orange Foods. However, if you find it challenging to stick to Green Foods, you can have one serving of Savory orange treats</span> <span style="font-weight: 400;">a day. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">I also encourage you to not cut anything out of your diet 100% of the time unless you are allergic to it, as removing foods entirely from your diet over a long period of time can lead to the loss of bacteria to digest such foods. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Also, when treating yourself, ensure to keep to the portion set above. If you have a whole “cheat day”, consuming large amounts of foods from the Treat System, you might experience stomach pain and discomfort.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Moderation is key, so please do not follow this lifestyle only having green foods for long periods of time. The Treat System is aimed to teach you moderation and rebalance your nutritional habits. Remember that the Eat Burn Sleep lifestyle is not about perfection but about damage limitation.</span></p>
